Ride to Naples - Nov 23-24, 2007 : The weekend after Thanksgiving we rode over to Naples on the west coast to visit a place called "Tin City" with my brother Ralph and his wife Marsha. It was a beautiful day and we rode south along the Sawgrass Expressway and I75 and then west on Griffin road to US 27. About 8 miles south on US27 to FL997 and then 15 miles to US 41, commonly called the Tamiami Trail. Turning west on the Tamiami Trail for about 88 miles through the Everglades National Park to Naples for a total of about 133 miles, give or take a gator tail or two. Saw lots of gators and wildlife along the way.

Wyland Wall in North Lauderdale 6/8/08 : As you might have read in the paper, the artist "Wyland" is painting a seascape mural on the wall along Cypress Creek Road just west of Rock Island Road in North Lauderdale. Wyland and his team started painting on June 5th and will finish on June 14th. The total length is over 1/4 mile long on the north side of the road. We rode over and walked along the whole length and met the artist "Wyland" as he was spray painting a manatee on the wall. This will be Wyland's 99th mural. His others are all over the world. Maui, Hawaii on a Harley - February 15, 2007 : On Feb 15th, 2007, we rented a 2007 Harley Heritage Classic while staying in the beach condo on Maui, Hawaii. We had the bike for 8 hours and put over 200 miles on it. Linda did a great job as rear seat photographer.
